How to read a peptide product label

A field-by-field checklist for names, strength, presentation, batch details and storage statements.

Start with identity, not marketing

Match the exact substance name and presentation. Similar names, salt forms, delivery devices and concentrations are not automatically interchangeable.

Record the manufacturer or responsible seller, batch or lot number, expiry or retest date, and any identifier that connects the package to supporting documentation.

Separate amount from concentration

A label may state a total amount per vial, an amount per millilitre, a device volume, or several of these values. Read the unit and the denominator together; a larger number does not necessarily mean a higher concentration.

Do not infer preparation or administration instructions from a catalog specification. Use only the instructions legally supplied for the exact approved product and market.

Treat storage text as a controlled requirement

Storage and transport statements should identify temperature range, light protection, handling after opening or preparation, and what to do after an excursion. Generic cold-chain language is not a substitute for product-specific instructions.

Editorial and source policy

This entry is marked as draft. Before public launch, product-specific claims should be checked against primary regulatory documents, official product information and peer-reviewed research, with source links and a dated medical/editorial review.
